HeidiSQL: Import database / upload

Step 1:

After you’ve connected to the database in HeidiSQL, select the database directly on the left.

Step 2:

Now click in the menu on File and on Load SQL file....

Step 3:

Then find the backup on your hard drive and Open it.

Step 4:

Click on Run file(s) directly. After that, the database backup will be imported. Depending on your internet connection and the backup size, this can take a few minutes.
