Hints for choosing a domain name
- Depending on the top-level domain (de/ com/ etc.) there are different limitations regarding the minimum length of the domain name.
- The following special characters cannot be used („ , . & / $ ! # )
- You can only use letters, numbers and the special character "-" (minus/dash) and the first and last character has to be a letter or a number.
- Upper and lower cases are not differentiated.
- Please note that umlaut domains are still not supported by some browsers and some email clients.
