SSL Certificate: How to install a Let's Encrypt certificate
Step 1:
Since December 2015, the non-profit certification authority "Let's Encrypt", operated by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG) and supported by well-known companies such as Mozilla or Cisco, among others, has been offering website operators the opportunity to create free SSL certificates. All current webhosting plans with included SSL extension support the installation of free "Let's Encrypt" certificates. If you are using an older plan, please ask whether Let's Encrypt can be installed as an additional option - it may be necessary to switch to an up-to-date or higher plan.
Please note that the following tutorial is only applicable for domains that point to our DNS.
Step 2:
Log in to your KAS (Technical Administration) and click the menu item Domain on the left and then click the Edit icon right next to the respective Domain.Step 3:
Right next to SSL protection, click the edit icon.Step 4:
On the Let's Encrypt tab, please check the option Accept the disclaimer and click on Get a Let's Encrypt certificate and install it now.Step 5:
