Step 1:

Log in to the Members Area with your customer number and password.

Click on the Domain Administration menu item on the left and then on Domain List.

Edit the domain for which you want to change the name servers.

Click Change nameservers.

Now enter the first of the name servers you want to store and click CONTINUE.

If everything is OK, the second name server will be detected automatically. To apply the name server changes, click SAVE.

The name server change is being implemented. It may take approximately 3-4 hours for the new setting to take effect.

If you receive this error message, the domain is not correctly set up on the specified name servers. In this case, please contact the name server provider.

Important: Please note that changing the name server will affect the email addresses. If the emails are to be used via our server, you must change the MX record in the new name server to our MX entry. In addition, the TXT verification entries (SPF, DMARC and DKIM) must also be set. All entries can be found in our KAS (Technical Administration) for the domain under "Tools - DNS Settings - Edit". You must store these settings with the operator of the other (external) name server.
