Step 1:

The permissions (CHMOD) are set to 0755 for folders and 0644 for files by default.

Please first select the file(s) and/or the folder(s) for which the privileges to be set. Click on Actions and select Permissions (chmod). Afterwards click OK.

You can now set the desired privileges for all selected folders/files by either checking the respective options above or by determining the privileges for each folders/files separately. In case a folder or file should be completely writeable, the privileges must be set to 777. In order to determine the privileges for a selected folder as well as its content, please check the "Set permissions recursively" option.

Click the save button.
